The following given to me 12/1998 by Jean Amspacher of Virginia. From the collection of articles of Phyllis Wildasin Amspacher wife of William of Hanover, PA. Amspacher. For Levi Amspacher (died Sept. 28, 1938) Heart Attack Fatal To Levi Amspacher This Afternoon On Farm Tenanted By Walter Little Levi Amspacher, 60 Forry avenue died suddenly this afternoon at 1:20 o'clock while engaged in husking corn on Geiman farm, York street extended, tenanted by Walter Little. He was aged 72 years. Dr. Nevin H. Seitz was summoned, but upon his arrival could only confirm the fact that death had taken place. County Corner L. U. Zech, York, who was notified, released the body to W. A. Feiser, funeral director, and planned to come to Hanover late this afternoon to issue the death certificate. Mr. Amspacher's wife, who was Miss Ida May Wagner before marriage, preceded him in death about ten years ago. Surviving him are five sons and one daughter, Quentin Amspacher, Mr. Joy, Lancaster County; John, Robert, Otto and Raymond Amspacher and Mrs. Hoke Michael, all of Hanover; nineteen grandchildren and on great grandchild. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Amspacher. This appeared in the York daily Record, York, PA on Jan 28, 1994 Cecelia M. Amspacher, Native of Connecticut Hanover--Cecelia M. Amspacher, 93, formerly of 217 1/2 Fair Ave., Died at 6:40 p.m. Wednesday at Homewood at Plum Creek. She was the wife of Otto L. Amspacher, who died Feb. 2, 1990. The couple had been married more than 70 years. The service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 127 York St., Hanover. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. The Wetzel Funeral Home Inc., 549 Carlisle St., Hanover, is in charge of arrangements Mrs. Amspacher was born Nov. 11, 1900, at Waterbury Conn. She was the daughter of the late Frank and of Catherine (Jennings) Cunningham. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, York Street, and of its Lydia Ladies Circle and the Sewing Circle. Mrs. Amspacher is survived by a daughter, Nadine C. Zartman, 324 Pleasant St., Hanover; two sons, William O. Amspacher, 421 York St, Hanover and James L. Amspacher, Chesapeake, Va.; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother John Cunningham, Hollywood, Fla; and a sister, Catherine Cunningham, Homewood at Plum Cheek Cottage 163. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dr. Douglas E. Johnson. 01-26-94

Obituary for Catherine Amspacher born Jan 4, 1921 died Dec 28, 1921: Catherine Amspacher, infant daughter of Otto and Cecelia Amspacher, Baer Avenue, died this morning at 10 o'clock, at the home of her parents. Death was due to a complication of diseases. She was aged 11 months and 21 days. She is survived only by her parents and her grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cunningham, Broadway. The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock with services at the house. The Rev. W. I. Redcay will officiate. Interment will be made in Mr. Olivet cemetery. This appeared in the paper also:Buried Catherine Amspacher The funeral of Catherine Amspacher, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Amspacher, Baer Avenue whose death occurred Wednesday was held this morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev Dr. W. I. Redcay, pastor of St Paul's Lutheran Church officiated. The pall bearers were Walter Markle and William H. Robtbaugh. Interment was made in the family plot at Mr. Olivet cemetery.
